This week we’ve been enjoying an unexpectedly sunny few days!

OK, let’s take a look at some of the more unusual things that have been happening in the news this week:
 

GOOD WEEK FOR:


  • A backpacker who thought she had lost lots of her precious photographs she’d taken whilst travelling around the world – only to have an advertising executive find her SD card in Amsterdam and start a worldwide hunt for her via social media. The woman has now been reunited with her photos. Read the story here:

  • An owl in Miami, after it was finally freed after becoming trapped – in the grille of a woman’s car.

  • Golf players at the Women’s Open in Canberra, Australia, after kangaroos invaded the course and stopped play.
